Protecting your information

Your tax records are some of the most sensitive papers you'll ever hand to anyone. Here's how we protect them.

What we do

  • We follow a written information security plan, as federal law requires of every tax preparer.
  • Client files stay on systems in our office, not on this website.
  • Every staff login uses two-factor authentication.
  • Our email is encrypted, and documents move through a secure portal or in person.
  • We share your information only when you've authorized it in writing.

What we'll never do

  • Ask for your Social Security number or bank details by text or plain email.
  • Ask you to pay a tax bill by gift card, wire or cryptocurrency.
  • Change where your refund goes because of an email or phone call.

If something claiming to be from us looks wrong, call the office at the number on this site before you reply.
